How do I obtain pets Maple Story Adventures?
Okay, i decide to answer this two question in one post. First of all, lets cover on monster taming. To tame a monster in Maple Story Adventures is fairly easy, all you have to do is to hunt down the particular monster that you want to tame(you however need to kill it like a million times).
This feature is called monster mastery. Every time you encounter a monster, your monster book will keep a record of it. Every time you kill or defeat a monster, that monster's mastery level meter fills up. More information about the monster is revealed each time the mastery level increases. If the monster reaches a certain level or have been slain enough times, you can tame the monster and can be equipped like a pet.
To check your monster mastery, click on the collection button and choose monster. The monster mastery summary will show you the level of the monster, your monster mastery level, number of times slain, location and the collection items.
Here is a rough idea on the number of slain for each mastery:
Apart from the monster list in your Monster Book, you also have your character's Tamer Level. When you slay a monster or tame them, you Tamer Level will increase giving you a new rank each time. Here is a list of the ranks available:
You can also purchase pet using FB credits from the pet girl located in every town.
- 0 Star Mastery -Encountered: Slain 1 Monster
- 1 Star Mastery -Registered: Slain 100 Monsters
- 2 Star Mastery -Still Registered: Slain 900 Monsters
- 3 Star Mastery -Tamed: Slain 2000 Monsters
- 4 Star Mastery -Mastered: Slain 3000 Monsters
- 5 Star Mastery : Slain 5000 Monsters
Apart from the monster list in your Monster Book, you also have your character's Tamer Level. When you slay a monster or tame them, you Tamer Level will increase giving you a new rank each time. Here is a list of the ranks available:
- Rookie Tamer - 0
- Novice Tamer - 10
- Junior Tamer - 50
- Pro Tamer - 100
- Vateran Tamer - 200
- Skilled tamer - 300
- Gifted Tamer - 500
- Master Tamer - 1000
- Brilliant Tamer - 1750
- Legendary Tamer - 3000

I killed slain red slime like 1,023. and i dont get it.. and another question. can i tame boss?
ReplyDeleteYes you can tame a boss. The easiest one you can tame is king slime. In order to tame normal monster, you need to check your monster mastery. Get it to at least level 3 and you should be able to tame it.

and for normal monster, once u have reached 3 stars u can tame it (i'm not at 171/3000)? or have to reach 4 stars?

May i know your tamer level? I have been informed that certain monsters need certain tamer level in order to tame it.

Hi, I've been plugging away at the green mushroom in ellinia and it takes a tonne of kills to tame them. So far the stars have been for 1,99,900,2000,3000,4000. That got me to five stars which is still classified as just registered.
ReplyDeleteI'm working towards the next level which is another 5000 which I ope will tame it and will, I imagine, change the colour of the stars. I'm currently on a total slain of 11213.
I am trying to tame ghost stumps, currently doing 753 of 2000( level 3). May I know whether the monster is tamed and follow me around when I reach 3 stars or I must reach 5 stars?
ReplyDeleteI was trying to tame a Smirking Ghost Stump. I followed the guide and got 3 stars and still couldn't tame it.

I see. Getting 5 stars to tame is rather boring and tiring. I think I will rather down king slime everyday and wait for 100 slains. Giving up on Ghost Stumps~~~

Lol, i gave up on the ghost stumps too, now im doing Tree Rod cause I dont want to check the game every two hours just to kill the slime :P
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is trying to get a pet by taming King Slime... PLEASE do NOT waste your time. It's just decorative, it won't attack or learn any skills, you can equip it as it was some other fashion stuff in the game, but it doesn't even appear on the pet screen. Really sad...
